Day at the Temple
Sunday, October 11th, 2009 | General
Please join us for our Day at the Temple, Saturday October 17. For people new to Zen practice it gives an introduction to the experience of emptiness, and gathering heart/mind. For experienced students it deepens practice; much work can be done when the day is given over to awareness itself.
The day begins at 9am and ends at 3pm. A vegetarian lunch is provided. Instruction is provided and there will be several meditation periods including walking meditation. We will refrain from talking until 3pm, when we’ll share desert together. There is no charge for the day; donations are appreciated.
The Temple’s microphone has malfunctioned and we have no talks from September to post. After a quick repair we will resume recording and posting Dharma Talks.
