Our first retreat of the 2013 Rains Training Season will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th. Retreats will be held in October, November and December, always on or centered on the 2nd Saturday of the month. See schedule for details.

H.T. Thich An Giao’s Dharma talk on the Lotus Sutra at IBEC, White Lotus Dharma Center in Garden Grove, for April 7th, has been canceled and will be rescheduled. As soon as we have a new date, we will post it here and on the calendar.

The International Buddhist Education Center (IBEC) was founded as an English-Language Dharma Education project which, while open to all who are interested in the Buddha’s teachings, is designed to serve the youth of the Vietnamese community in Southern California. An Giao Roshi is a founding, teaching member of this organization and serves on the Board of IBEC.
Both Roshi and Su Co will be giving talks at their White Lotus Dharma Center in English at 2:30 p.m. on the first and fifth Sundays of each month in 2013. Usually a Vietnamese translator attends and helps out, if necessary.
No class October 4th.
Class resumes October 11th, when we will focus on The Diamond Sutra. We have copies to loan or you can read it online here

From 8 p.m. Friday evening through the end of service Sunday, we will be holding a silent meditation retreat as part of the Rains Season Training period (September 11 through December 11, 2011).
