Vu Lan Celebration (Ghost Festival / Memorial & Buddhist “Mothers’ Day”) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 29th – A special public ceremony of Mind Seal Transmission for Venerable Steven Kozen Sampson. Vegetarian potluck & entertainment. The more, the merrier!

Bryan Goodrich, Susan Chacon and Tom Wesley Brown begin the precept ceremony, where they will take Refuge and the Five Laby Precepts, and receive Sanskrit names in honor of their formal status as Buddhists.
